About Us
The Vula Programme ("Vula" is the Zulu word for "Open")seeks to contribute to an improvement in the quality of education in the Midlands of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. The focus is on schools, teachers and learners from under-resourced communities in the area, including their management teams and governing bodies. Using the IT and teaching facilities of Hilton College, the programme provides expert tuition in Mathematics, Science and Technology to teachers and learners from our partner schools. Additional programmes include entrepreneurial training, an annual careers fair for matriculants, and literacy and skills traininhg for adults from communities surrounding the college.
