  • Mission

We are a global voice for licensed health professionals and scientists advocating for evidence-based drug policies and best practices that advance public health, reduce stigma, and minimize harm.

    About Us

Our Strategic Vision: D4DPR advances its mission through Advocacy, Education, and Regulation.

Advocacy: We proactively guide cannabis, psychedelic, opioid, and other drug regulation, providing early commentary on ballot initiatives, bills, and rules. We research and track legislation nationwide, offering science-based recommendations to support public health. We expand medical endorsement of harm reduction over prohibition, correct misconceptions about drug harms, and build partnerships with U.S. and global organizations to amplify impact and ensure physicians’ voices are heard. Education: We emphasize three core messages-prohibited drugs may have health benefits, harm reduction improves outcomes, and fears of ending prohibition are often unfounded. Regulation: We provide expert guidance to lawmakers, voters, and medical organizations on optimal approaches, including the development of a universal symbol (IICPS) to identify cannabinoid products.
