    The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

    About Us

    Established in 1889, The Salvation Army in Olympia provides social services to families in need. Among the programs offered are worship services, emergency utility assistance, eviction prevention, food and nutrition programs, and disaster services. Last year, The Salvation Army in Olympia served more than 3,400 individuals in the community.
