Long Beach Senior Squadron 150, Civil Air Patrol, US Air Force Auxiliary

At Squadron 150 we are looking for volunteers interested in serving their community by assisting in air search and rescue, disaster relief, homeland security and counter-drug operations. Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary of the US Air Force and CAP members are civilian volunteers. CAP has plenty of opportunities for you to volunteer. CAP owns the largest fleet of single-engine piston aircraft in the nation and CAP uses those planes to perform CAP missions in service to their local communities.

Squadron 150 participates in Search and Rescue (SAR) missions, Search and Rescue training exercises (SAREXes), and disaster relief efforts. In addition to providing services to the United States Air force, Squadron 150 participates with other organizations such as the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA and Cal EMA (OES).
