About Us

Dedicated to ensuring that all people with depression have equal access to information, support, and hope, our innovative community-based programs are always FREE and open to the public.

OUR MISSION: The LiveWell Foundation aims to raise public awareness and understanding of depression, and to seek innovative solutions for helping people live well.

Transforming lives through wellness education and peer support, the LiveWell Program® is a community-based, recovery and relapse reduction program for people living with depression. Our LiveWell support groups -- led by people who have recovered from depression and endorsed by renowned mental health experts -- are always free and open-to-the-public.

Combined with our diverse range of public education/prevention programs and engaging community events, the LiveWell Foundation is working to change the way depression is viewed, discussed and treated.

Some of our Programs:

  • LiveWell Depression Support Groups: a one-of-kind peer-led, psychosocial educational experience
  • LiveWell Barbershop Connection: a network of local barbers dedicated to "cutting" depression and suicide
  • LiveWell Yoga for Depression and Anxiety
