EASTHAMPTON NEIGHBORS

Launched in 2020, Easthampton Neighbors (EN) is a caring community of volunteers providing support services and programs to help Easthampton seniors (55+) sustain independent, engaged lives in their own homes. We connect seniors in need of services with volunteers who can help. We are part of the Village-to-Village Movement (vtvnetwork.org) and one of 300+ Villages across the U.S. Villages like ours revitalize the community tradition where neighbors help each other. We are a fee-free organization which removes any financial barriers for our members. Our services include providing transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping, conducting friendly home visits and light handyman services and housekeeping chores. We envision a society where all stages of life offer meaningful opportunities for growth, connection and joy; where people of all backgrounds and economic means can age with dignity, purpose and self-determination. To date, we have 210 members and 55 volunteers.
