About Us

The BMW Center for German and European Studies hosts the premier graduate program in European Studies in the United States, MAGES (Master of Arts in German and European Studies). Part of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, the Center educates the next generation of transatlantic leaders, and nurtures and sustains the transatlantic dialogue. Students study international affairs, comparative politics, economics, cultural studies, and history and create their own concentration, ranging from immigration issues in Europe to human rights to economic development in the EU.
