FLEECE & THANK YOU

Our signature program is our blanket-making events, remotely, virtually, and in person. We host over 400 blanket-making events every year, partnering with schools, businesses, and any group you can imagine, to help us achieve our goal of making 30,000 blankets for every child that receives inpatient hospital care.

Every blanket we provide also has a personal video message attached to it from the blanket maker to the recipient in the hospital, who can then send a 'thank-you’ message back to the maker!

Volunteering at the Facility

There is no monetary donation requirement to volunteer at our warehouse and we would love to have your group come out to help us! Please note that volunteering at the warehouse is different from making blankets though. Volunteers help us with many tasks. Tasks include helping prepare blanket kits, quality controlling blankets, and helping get blankets ready for shipment to the hospitals.

We have volunteer shifts on Mondays (1 p.m.- 3 p.m.), Wednesdays (10 a.m.- 12 p.m.), and some Thursdays (11 a.m.- 1 p.m.).

Important Volunteer Requirements (for volunteers under 18):

• All volunteers must be over 13 years of age.
• Any volunteer under 18 must have a minor liability form filled out by a parent or guardian for liability purposes, even if the minor registered for the shift online (which anyone over the age of 14 MUST register using the sign-up link provided above).
• Volunteers between the ages of 13-15 years old must have a parent/guardian/or adult chaperone with them. We require a ratio of 4 children to 1 adult.
