    Founded in 2006, Yamba Malawi uplifts Malawian children by building local businesses and by enabling investment in children’s care. With 1.8 children in Malawi considered vulnerable and 90% of the entire population living on less than $2 a day, Yamba Malawi addresses an urgent need-not by simply providing Malawians with resources, but by empowering them to generate their own. Since their founding, Yamba Malawi has built 10 community-level businesses, launched 40 household businesses, and impacted the lives of over 100,000 vulnerable children.
