    The Central Illinois Youth Symphony mentors area youth to develop a repertoire of skills for both music and life through the power of live performance. Our vision is to enrich and unite our community by fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts. For over 50 years, CIYS serves children and youth throughout central Illinois through comprehensive and innovative classical music programs. Student musicians are able to participate in one of four orchestras, small ensembles, chamber music groups, and workshops and master classes taught by world-class artists.
