Emergency Food Bank Stockton/San Joaquin

  • Mission

To build a stronger community by providing a safety net of food, nutrition and health education, job training and hope to residents of San Joaquin County who find themselves in an emergency situation. We further advance our mission by supporting those organizations, groups and community events whose goals and mission target healthy lifestyles.

    About Us

The Emergency Food Bank serves the San Joaquin community by providing essential and nutritious food items to those in need.

We assist families, individuals, and seniors through our main food pantry (M-F). We also support a network of satellite food pantries throughout the County. The Mobile Farmer's Market Program reaches out to underserved San Joaquin County neighborhoods with fresh, locally-grown fruit and produce, cooking demonstrations and healthy recipes. We also provide other services including CalFresh enrollment.

The Emergency Food Bank participates in numerous community events throughout the year, and hosts the annual Run and Walk Against Hunger on Thanksgiving morning. Please visit our website for more information about events and opportunities to help fight hunger in our community.
