    About Us

    Etna Community Organization (ECO) began in 2016 as a grassroots initiative to steward the creation of the Etna EcoDistrict Plan. Four years of continuous community engagement culminated in Etna Borough becoming the world’s first Certified EcoDistrict. Today, ECO is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our work focuses on improving the quality of life for all who live, work, and play in Etna, PA. We collaborate with community members, local partners, and regional organizations to realize the vision of the Etna EcoDistrict Plan.
