World Relief (WR) is an international relief and development organization committed to alleviating human suffering worldwide. Founded by the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) in 1944 to assist victims of World War II, WR currently works in 18 countries on five continents. WR partners with churches and community groups to resettle refugees in 21 locations throughout the United States. Since 1979, WR has resettled over 236,000 refugees and assisted other foreign-born populations with legal services, cultural integration, and the pursuit of self-sufficiency.
