Enaya Development Foundation

Enaya is a charitable development foundation which works in Yemen to help and protect victims of violence, especially women, children and those with special needs, provides them with health and psychological care and legal counseling , provides all their needs of houses, food, drink and clothes in cooperation with all concerned and relevant ministries and institutions ,and finds highly qualified staff who work to train and qualify them to help them to reintegrate into society to achieve the principle of family reconciliation and to consolidate the concepts of coexistence and interdependence between members of the same society

Vision

Providing a pioneering model for the role of civil society organizations as a development partner in Yemen by supporting innovative development initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable human development at a time when the world is developing a new development thinking based on building human capacities, expanding their choices and new managing for development which also based on the private sector and civil society as partners with the Government in meeting the challenges of change and progress.

Mission

The mission of the Foundation is to make a significant contribution to address the most pressing development issues in Yemen, to create sustainable employment opportunities for citizens that achieve their aspirations for a dignified life and to alleviate the suffering of low-income people by supporting initiatives that encourage creating employment opportunities through training, and promoting the quality of education for women, especially for rural women. The Foundation also supports efforts to improve health and increase local community access to basic services.
