The Gwapa Project; Creative Hope, Inc

The Gwapa Project is a non-profit inspired by a documentary, that now seeks to collaborate and train community based organizations in social media & film globally--empowering them to be their own news-makers and highlight their sustainable projects. We aim to bridge the gap between responsible local organizations and the practical application of new and emerging social media practices. With collaboration as the focus, we hope to facilitate lasting, sustainable change in these communities. This is a grass roots effort and we will aim to create ownership in The Gwapa Project among the communities we serve, on both a local and international level. With so many important social action issues out there, we plan to team up with established organizations around the globe to help them amplify their message and join the global social media conversation.
