About Us
Consumer Action (CA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) advocacy and education organization that has served consumers since 1971. CA publishes and distributes free multilingual consumer educational materials on various consumer issues such as consumer fraud, privacy, housing discrimination and money management. CA works through its national network of 7,000 community-based agencies to educate millions of low-income, immigrant, senior and other disadvantaged populations on these issues. CA also publishes these materials on Consumer Action's web site (www.consumer-action.org) and trains the staff of agencies on how best to use the materials in the community.
