Springdale Presbyterian Church

Springdale Presbyterian Church, a forward-thinking medium-sized church congregation in northeast suburban Louisville. We are a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest Presbyterian denomination in the country. We're a congregation made up of people of all ages who work, play, and pray together. We believe that God calls us to be in relationship - with God and with one another. Because of that, we care deeply for people, both inside and outside of our congregation, and that shows in what kinds of ministries and initiatives we're involved in. As followers of Jesus Christ, we seek to cultivate a thoughtful, informed, and expressive faith. An important part of that kind of faith is working to demonstrate love in active, meaningful ways in places of pain, brokenness, injustice, and need, wherever it's found in the world.

Springdale Presbyterian Church is proud to be certified "Earth Care Congregation," indicating our commitment to environmental and sustainability issues. We're also proud to be a member congregation of More Light Presbyterians. This organization and its member congregations are committed to working for the full participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA+) people in the life, ministry and witness of the church and in society. We are a mission partner, member congregation, or supporter of Habitat for Humanity, Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Eastside Area Community Ministries, Portland Area Community Trust, La Casita Center, The Louisville Bail Project, the Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Justice, and many other local mission and justice initiatives.
