WHITEHOUSE COMMUNITY LIBRARY INC

  • Mission

We give back to our community by providing resources to educate and to entertain, including books of all genres, audiobooks, and movies. It is our goal to continually expand and evolve to meet the needs of our diversifying community by attempting to meet the needs of every patron. We promote literacy through a weekly Storytime, a yearly summer reading program, and are currently in the process of developing even more programs to further encourage learning.

    About Us

The Whitehouse Community Library opened in 1990 after a group of residents gathered donated materials and raised funds through donations from the community. The majority of our funding is provided through grants and fundraising efforts, as we are one of the few non-tax supported libraries in the United States. Since its founding, volunteers have played an imperative role in the operation of the library and much of what we do would be impossible without the community's support.
