Salix Compass, a fiscally sponsored project of Evergreen Social Impact, helps patients and clinics navigate the administrative barriers that delay access to life-saving medications. We work to reduce out-of-pocket costs, speed up treatment, and remove the paperwork burden that stands between patients and the care they need. Our mission is to make medication access more affordable, more humane, and more reliable.

Salix Compass is a nonprofit initiative fiscally sponsored by Evergreen Social Impact. We support patients, clinics, and community providers by reducing the administrative burden around medication access, including patient assistance programs, prior authorization support, and related navigation work.

Many patients face delays or denials because the process is manual, complex, and error-prone. Clinics are often understaffed, and patients can be left waiting for medications they need to live and function. We exist to help close that gap by combining expert navigation with secure, privacy-conscious workflows.

Our model is designed to support sustainable clinic operations while lowering barriers for patients. Volunteers play a meaningful role in helping us organize information, prepare materials, support outreach, and keep our internal systems efficient and accurate.
