Founded by Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta in 2012, Born This Way Foundation is committed to supporting the wellness of young people and empowering them to build a kinder and braver world. We do this by working directly with young people and by leveraging innovative programming, quality research, and authentic partnerships.

Born This Way Foundation recognizes that today’s young people are a passionate, collaborative, idealistic, and diverse generation. They are our most promising problem solvers and effective change makers. That’s why our programs are tailored for and powered by young people - putting their ideas, voices, and needs first. We focus on demonstrating the potential of kindness to transform lives and communities, validating the emotions of young people, and eradicating the stigma around mental health.
