  • Mission

Hit the Streets Corporation is a community-based nonprofit committed to meeting immediate needs while building long-term pathways to stability for individuals, youth, and families across Cuyahoga County. With a focus on Cleveland, East Cleveland, and Euclid, we work directly in communities experiencing economic hardship to provide critical resources, support services, and opportunities for growth, dignity, and self-sufficiency.

    About Us

Hit the Streets Corporation (HTS) serves individuals and families facing housing instability, financial hardship, and limited access to resources. What began as street outreach has grown into a multi-program organization offering both immediate assistance and structured, long-term support.

Our work includes mobile community outreach through our Feed the Streets initiative, where volunteers and staff meet people where they are with food, basic necessities, and resource connections. We also operate long-term support programs such as our Second Chance Self-Sufficiency Program, which helps individuals rebuild stability through peer support, life skills development, and community integration.

HTS is also a Medicaid waiver-approved Community Integration provider, offering approved services that support individuals navigating mental health challenges, substance recovery, and reentry into stable community living.

In addition, we invest in youth development through our Game Changers initiative, which includes the Future Founders program. Future Founders is an entrepreneurship and leadership program designed to equip young people with confidence, financial literacy, and real-world skills to shape their futures.

Our approach is hands-on, relationship-driven, and rooted in dignity. Volunteers play a vital role in our mission, whether supporting outreach efforts, assisting with youth programming, helping with community events, or contributing professional skills to strengthen our operations.

We serve across Cuyahoga County, with concentrated efforts in Cleveland, East Cleveland, and Euclid, and we welcome volunteers who are passionate about community impact, equity, and practical solutions that change lives.
