Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation

About Us

The PA Parks and Forests Foundation incorporated in 1999 to address the growing need for citizen involvement in our state park and forest system. We work to connect people to their public lands, by engaging them in a variety of activities that support outdoor recreation, education, and natural/cultural resource conservation and preservation. This is done at a state wide level as well as locally through friends groups. These local-level groups generate private sector funds to enhance parks and forests, provide educational programming, serve as volunteers, and are a voice for the park or forest that they represent.

Our Mission

PPFF’s mission is to inspire stewardship of Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests.

Our Vision
