We are committed to transforming lives by providing services and education to meet the needs of our diverse community. VISION STATEMENT To create a community free from all forms of sexual violence.

    About Us

Standing Together to End Sexual Assault (STESA), formerly Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center (SBRCC), is a private, non-profit agency that has provided counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to survivors of sexual assault and their families since 1974. The organization began with a handful of volunteers who identified a critical need in the community. Since then STESA has developed into an organization which each year provides multiple services to hundreds of clients and education to thousands of people in our community.

STESA is an inclusive organization that welcomes survivors, significant others, volunteers and staff of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, classes, abilities, and ages.
