About Us

The Center for Talent Development (CTD) at Northwestern University is dedicated to helping academically talented students, age 3 through grade 12, realize their full potential. A part of of Northwestern’s School of Education and Social Policy, CTD takes a research-based approach to talent development, providing comprehensive enrichment and accelerated programs and services that guide and encourage students on their talent development journey. CTD delivers personalized options and guidance for young people from early childhood into adulthood through online communities; weekend, summer, online and leadership programs; and assessments that identify strengths and measure growth. CTD also provides support to families and educators through professional learning, resources, and consulting. CTD staff works collaboratively to help exceptional students discover their unique voice, explore opportunities, cultivate a love of learning and become bold, creative achievers and contributors.
