Mission
WCS envisions a world where wildlife thrives in healthy lands and seas, valued by societies that embrace and benefit from the diversity and integrity of life on Earth. The Wildlife Conservation Society harnesses the power of its global conservation programs and urban wildlife parks—including the Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, and New York Aquarium—to protect wildlife and wild places worldwide.
About Us
The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), in collaboration with Miami University, offers the Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP), an innovative graduate program for professionals interested in conservation, sustainability, community-based action, and environmental leadership. Through this relationship, students earn a master’s degree from Miami University while engaging in meaningful field-based learning with WCS, gaining access to WCS's New York City parks and global conservation expertise.
