    About Us

    The Board of Directors for the Friends of Frying Pan Park promotes and assists the park through leadership and advocacy by providing insight, leadership, and fiscal support for operations and programming of Frying Pan Farm Park.

    The park is a diverse operation with four, key areas of focus situated on 140 acres in western Fairfax County. The facility is the largest and most diverse county park with thousands of visitors per year and has four key areas of focus: equestrian, farm, history, and recreation. The equestrian facilities serve a large and diverse group from multiple disciplines offering over 25 shows per year and more than 36 hosted shows. Kidwell farm preserves and represents a 1940’s era working farm in Fairfax. Many of the buildings and grounds are steeped in rich history and the facilities offer multiple recreation opportunities for hikers, bikers, horses, play and exploration.
