Mission
The Milford United Way seeks to improve the lives of Milford CT residents by mobilizing our community to advance the common good. We bring people together to build a stronger, more equitable Milford where everyone can thrive. To do so, we tackle some of the toughest challenges facing those in need in our community: quality education, economic mobility, and access to health resources. And we do it by bringing together local businesses, concerned citizens, municipal resources, and nonprofit partners. Worldwide, United Way is the mission of choice for 1.5 million volunteers. About Us
The Milford United Way is the leading local charitable resource for Milford people in need. We bring a multitude of services together, coordinate programs among them, and build programs where there is a need and none yet exist . We are staffed with one goal in mind: service to the community, whether that be as organizers, advocates, advisors, fundraisers, or simply hands-on help. Your donations of ti me, money and advocacy keep our resources flowing to the organizations that need them most so that you can be assured that your contribution does the most good for the most vulnerable people of Milford when it's needed most.
