Congregation Beth Shalom Department of Education and Youth

About Us

Religious School

The Congregation Beth Shalom Religious School was voted "Best Supplementary School" by the readers of the JT News in 2010. We strive to provide our students with a strong foundation in Jewish knowledge, a love of Jewish learning, and a strong Jewish identity. Our program operates on a spiral curriculum, with students building upon their knowledge as they advance from year to year.

Youth Department

Beth Shalom offers a thriving, successful youth program! Our programs focus on our core values of Jewish Learning, Israel, Social Activism, and building Jewish Identity. We also provide incredible opportunities for socializing and having fun with other Jewish youth. We are affiliated with the Pinwheel (Pacific Northwest) Region of United Synagogue Youth. Our USY chapter regularly elects and appoints officers to the USY Regional Board and Regional General Board. For more information about our region please visit www.pinwheelusy.org.

We currently offer four different youth groups, based upon grade level. If you'd like to learn more about these programs, please contact the advisors listed below:
