Activate America (formerly Flip the West)

Activate America is a grassroots-focused Independent Expenditure organization dedicated to maintaining and expanding the Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. The larger our majority, the more we can make meaningful and lasting change possible in the courts, economic recovery, voting rights, health care, the environment, racial justice, and so much more.

In 2018, we helped flip seven of California's Republican-held Congressional seats. In 2020, we helped elect four new Democratic Senators in Arizona, Colorado, and Georgia, securing the new Democratic majority. Activate America coordinates with local, statewide, and national organizations to mobilize volunteers where they can do the most good. Through door knocking, postcarding, phone banking, texting, and Instagram direct messenger, Activate America is creating the programs that will help us hold seats we narrowly won and flip seats we narrowly lost.
