About Us

The National Sleep Foundation (NSF) is a nonprofit organization that promotes public understanding of sleep and sleep disorders and supports sleep-related education, research and advocacy to improve public health and safety.

NSF's programs focus on the following issues: sleep problems/disorders such as insomnia, apnea and narcolepsy; special populations such as women, teens and the elderly; and sleep-related issues such as workplace sleepiness, drowsy driving and school start times.
