    Our purpose is to provide a means for our community to support continuing education by providing graduating seniors with scholarships that meet our donors’ criteria.

    About Us

    An enthusiastic and talented group of parents and school staff founded the Peninsula Hawks Scholarship Fund in 1984. Many of them still live in this community and take a keen interest in the progress of the program. Their goal was to increase scholarship donations from the community and to encourage students to continue their education. Additionally, students could receive recognition and encouragement as they went on to higher education.

    Prior to the advent of the Peninsula Hawks Scholarship fund, approximately $7,000 was awarded to PHS graduating seniors each year. Now, more than 30 years later, the program handles scholarship awards totaling over $320,000. Let’s reach even higher this year!
