Impact Hub Accra is part of the global Impact Hub Network with 90+ hubs, across five regions and 15,000+ members. Impact Hub Accra, the leading Impact Hub of the eight Impact Hubs in Africa, has grown to become Accra’s premier entrepreneurial hotspot. Impact Hub Accra is a collaborative organization providing growth support services to innovative startup businesses, including; incubator program for entrepreneurs, pitch and leadership workshops, networking events, opportunities to design and prototype, and more. The hub is an active nexus where different local and global ecosystem players converge.

HEALTH INNOVATION PROGRAM

The Health Innovation program at Impact Hub Accra is focused on creating a vibrant, pan-African health innovation ecosystem through a diverse offering of health-related programs, including hackathons, pitch competitions, rural health projects, social enterprise incubation and a summer associate program. The Health Innovation program partners with the government, industry, academic and health sectors to improve health outcomes in West Africa through the lens of entrepreneurship. Key partners in the Health Innovation program include Merck, Hack for Big Choices, the Yale School of Management, the Turner Family Center for Social Ventures at Vanderbilt University, Facebook, and more.

This position will directly support the Marketing and Communications Strategy for existing and newly developed Health Innovation programming. Examples include, but are not limited to: an incubation program for early-stage startups, a summer research program for MPH and PhD candidates, and a countrywide fellowship program for young global health leaders.
