The Pennsylvania State University - Penn State Law
About Us
Penn State Law is situated on the largest campus of Penn State University, one of the nation's top public research institutions. With entering classes of 120 to 140 students and first-year course sections of fewer than 50, our students enjoy the best of both worlds -- a personalized academic experience coupled with the resources and educational opportunities of a world-class university.
The faculty of Penn State Law embraces the University’s mission to improve “the lives of the people of Pennsylvania, the nation, and the world” through exemplary legal teaching, scholarship, and service. Because law is the foundation of social order and prosperity, the Law School recognizes our unique responsibility and opportunity. Our priorities are to:
- reap the distinct advantages of being part of a major research institution;
- educate a diverse student body;
- strive to prepare students to contribute through law to a global society; and
