Food Rescue Express...Eagle County

To distribute non perishable & perishable food to Certified Agencies, individuals and some child day care centers. To help these people who are having a tough time regardless of the reason. We pick up the food and inspect it and we deliver it. We are a food bank/food distribution program and are all volunteers. We distribute the food here in Eagle County. Since we started in late 1998-2003 we have delivered approximately 34,645 lbs of perishable and non perishable food. We are a small food bank/food distribution program, but we have the biggest hearts. We work with the local senior center which has 4 senior sites in the County and also the women's safe house which just opened 2 1/2 months ago.
