Humane Borders

The mission of Humane Borders is to save lives in the desert and to transform the U.S.-Mexico border into a space of dignity, justice, equity, hope and human understanding. Our core values are compassion, safety, integrity, teamwork and inclusion.

For more than 25 years, Humane Borders has worked to prevent death and suffering in the desert through the placement and maintenance of permitted water stations, community engagement, advocacy, and education. We believe that every human life has dignity and deserves compassion and our water is for all.
