Grace House Community Centre

Grace House Community Centre is a registered charity in England and Wales and a Cambodian NGO.

Our Mission Statement - "Enabling the community to become sustainable through education, family support and health care."

To achieve our aims we support families living on or below the poverty line in 3 rural villages nr Siem Reap, Cambodia. We provide an English language and genaral education programme for 4 - 18 + yr olds. The programme includes Art, Music, IT, Sport and health education. We support children to attend state school by funding school supplies, uniforms and extra lessons.We provide university and vocational training scholarships to our school leavers.Our Vocational training offers an Electricians Course and the Grace Gecko Vocational Training Centre for Women teaches disadvantaged women to weave household and fashion items from natural materials.

Our family support programme repairs houses, ensures safe electricity, clean water and sanitation. Food aid is provided where needed and a lunch club provides a meal for the most malnorished children. Meals are also delivered to the elderly. We also help families to access to health care and health education. The Youth Club enable 14 -19 yr olds a space to develop leadership skills and enjoy leisure activities.

Our Disability Day Programme provides a structured programme of education, social interaction and fun actities for children with disabilities from 2 -18 yrs. A small group home provides a safe caring environment for 6 -8 disabled children and a respite programme.
