  • About Us

The Clinical & Population Health Research (CPHR) doctoral program was established to train researchers who will make a difference. The program is specifically designed to address the new challenges in biomedical research; speeding the translation of knowledge from basic sciences to patient care interventions, and assuring that new evidence-based medicine reaches the populations that can benefit from it. With advanced coursework in epidemiology, biostatistics, and determinants of health, along with an interdisciplinary approach to conducting research, the CPHR program provides a strong focus on addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.
