Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County

Since 1972, 4Cs (also known as "the Council") has worked on behalf of children, families and early education professionals across San Mateo County and the Bay Area.

San Mateo County is the "workingest" County in California - with 66% of all children living with two parents in the work force or a single parent who works. This makes quality child care integral to the children and families who live here. 4Cs focuses on fostering the growth and development of children, promoting the professional development of early education professionals, supporting families in their parenting roles, and helping employers and the wider community acknowledge the importance of children to society, and child care as a quality of life and infrastructure issue.
