Community Assistance Network, Inc. (CAN) was founded in Baltimore County, Maryland in 1965 to eliminate the root causes and consequences of poverty. We presently serve clients in Baltimore County and surrounding jurisdictions and manage multiple programs providing a variety of services.

CAN operates two of Baltimore County's largest homeless shelters: the Eastside Family Shelter, located in Rosedale, and the Westside Men's Shelter located in Catonsville. The shelters serve as an all-inclusive resource to help stabilize the homeless of Baltimore County through case management, rapid re-housing programs, aftercare coordination, and the Samaritan and Arbutus Housing Programs for formerly chronically homeless single adults.

CAN's purpose in operating is to provide a safe, clean, supportive community to help stabilize individuals experiencing homelessness in Baltimore County, by promoting self-worth, encouraging personal responsibilities, and providing linkages to community resources.

We are driven team who is committed to changing lives and are looking for a candidate who embodies that spirit. Are you looking to make a positive impact on the lives of those in your community?
