BASE (Bay Area Social Empowerment)

  • Mission

We serve unaccompanied homeless and at-risk youth in the Bay Area, and young parents with children of their own up to their 25th birthday. Our mission is to end the cycle of youth homelessness in the Bay Area.

    About Us

BASE is an all-volunteer non-profit helping homeless and at-risk youth in the Bay Area through our core programs: providing youth with mentoring, food security, housing assistance, clothing, hygiene products, education support, and various other resources to ensure homelessness is temporary, and youth have social empowerment to improve and stabilize their life.

We launched in 2024, with over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector for homelessness we have a vision to develop an organization focused on the needs of the youth in the Bay Area, bridging the gaps that we've witnessed in our communities, and partnering with other organizations to end youth homelessness. We are dedicated to better serve the community to ensure youth have access to the appropriate resources and services.
