    About Us

    Prisma Health Tuomey Hospice is looking for volunteers who are willing to provide companionship to those facing a terminal illness. Hospice volunteers serve in non-medical roles, but are an important part of the hospice team who give their time and emotional support to patients, families and staff. They work in a variety of locations including patient homes, hospitals and nursing facilities. We are currently looking for individuals to serve in Sumter who are interested in sitting with patients to offer companionship, emotional support and caregiver respite.
