International Visitor Program

  • About Us

The International Visitor Program is a branch of the World Affairs Council of Seattle geared toward promoting international understanding in the greater Seattle area. By members of our community with visiting leaders from around the world, the IVP facilitates the establishment of meaningful relationships that tie Seattle to the global sphere. In creating opportunities for interpersonal "citizen diplomacy," the ongoing mission of the IVP is to break down boundaries of culture, language, and nationality and foster discussion, debate, and heightened international cooperation.
