    Founded in 2013, Healthy Black Families (HBF) is a start up 501c3 and considered a small non-profit with revenues less than three million dollars. Our mission is to support the growth and development of black families and to support individual growth and development.  Our vision is to fully achieve health equity through the elimination of the negative impacts of social determinants of health, such as racism and other factors that disproportionately impact Black families.  We achieve our mission by providing community education, engagement and capacity building as well as supporting individual self-advocacy and empowerment.
