EMEDEX International

  • About Us

EMEDEX is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the global promotion and advancement of emergency medicine, disaster management and public health. We provide and develop these services through the provision of educational, research and exchange programs between SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital in New York City, other US emergency departments, and hospitals around the world. Most recently our programs have focused on Haiti, where we are actively involved in shaping the health infrastructure in the country's northeast, and in Brazil, where we are laying the ground work for residency training in emergency medicine.
