    About Us

Repeal the Second is a New York–registered nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing human rights, with a specific focus on religious freedom and minority rights in Pakistan. Our core mission is to advocate for the repeal of anti-Ahmadiyya laws and blasphemy statutes that are used to persecute vulnerable communities, especially members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community.

Since its founding in 2013, Repeal the Second has worked to amplify the voices of those silenced by systemic oppression. Through public education, international advocacy—including engagement with UN platforms—and community-centered programming, we aim to challenge discriminatory legislation and promote a culture of tolerance, justice, and dignity for all.

While our work is rooted in addressing the persecution of Ahmadis in Pakistan, our broader human rights agenda includes promoting freedom of belief, gender justice within marginalized communities, and access to mental health resources for those impacted by religious and cultural oppression.
