  • About Us

Women Texas Film Festival celebrates women who lead in filmmaking, virtual reality, and game design by showcasing the range of female-identified voices and narratives across the media.

Joining together with a community of stakeholders and powerhouses, our goal is to develop a dynamic platform dedicated to women in filmmaking, the storytelling arts and technology. We’re not shrinking the gender gap. We’re destroying it.

Through film screenings, panels, and social events, the organization encourages filmmakers to have the courage to fight stereotypes and gender norms and push forward as decision makers in the stories we tell.

Women Texas Film Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
