  • About Us

The San Diego World Affairs Council, founded in 1954, is dedicated to serving the citizens of San Diego by providing educational programs and activities focusing upon international relations, economics, politics and the culture of people in foreign countries. We host events by Heads of State, Ambassadors, Cabinet Officers, distinguished scholars, and other experts at luncheons, dinners, and evening events. In addition to regular monthly programming and a large annual member's luncheon, we provide monthly activities for the Young Professionals program and weekly programming for the Foreign Policy Association/PBS Great Decisions topical discussion groups.
