  • Mission

The Achievement Centers for Children's mission is to empower children and adults with disabilities and their families to achieve their greatest potential.

    About Us

Founded in 1940, the Achievement Centers for Children serves children, teens and adults with a broad range of disabilities and special needs including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other physical, developmental, neurological and emotional challenges. Our unique, comprehensive service model blends together education and autism services, family support, occupational, speech and physical therapies, and recreation, camp and sports programs to meet the needs of the entire family, and provide the best outcomes and achievements.

We serve over 2,500 individuals at our three locations (Highland Hills, Westlake, and Camp Cheerful in Strongsville) and in childcare centers, schools and homes throughout the community. We provide many of our programs regardless of a family's ability to pay. The Achievement Centers for Children has a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest possible rating, for demonstrating strong financial health, commitment to accountability and executing our mission in a financially efficient way.
