About Us
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento (HFHGS) builds affordable homes in partnership with families in need giving them a hand up and not a hand out.
HFHSG is supported by a host of volunteers, faith-based organizations, donors and corporations for the betterment of our community.
We are a housing ministry based on the Christian principles of decent housing for all people, regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, religion or whether or not a person receives government assistance.
Churches, individuals, businesses, and other groups contribute funds or sponsor a house. HFHGS continues to build homes as contributions and volunteer hours allow.
Family selection is based upon need, ability to pay, demonstrated responsibility, and willingness to partner with us.
