About Us

We all know it takes a village to raise children. Lilypad is a play space for children and their caretakers, from infants to about age 4, at 1234 S. Broad Street, in South Philly. Lilypad brings families together during playgroups, community events, and classes (CLASSES ARE ALL OPEN TO THE PUBLIC). Lilypad’s affordable family memberships mean you and your children can come to all our playgroups for about $8/month. Visit us at Lilypad to get the support you need as we build a strong, diverse family-friendly community.

Lilypad's primary way to raise money is CityKids Consignment Sale. This sale takes place twice a year at Neumann Goretti High School, Sale entrance on 11th Street between Morris St. and Moore St. in South Philadelphia.

Shop, Consign, and/or Volunteer the sale and support Lilypad! We are an all-volunteer registered non-profit, run completely by parents in the community. Whatever doesn’t sell gets donated to local charities! All items at the sale will get a second or third use.
